The chart below shows the factors that are most pertinent when it comes to productivity. generally, these factors are dividede into behaviour (on the side of the employee) and given conditions (on the side of the company). The chart shows how many employees per factor are in a «struggling», «stretched» or «balanced»-health state.

In order to measure the sustainability of CHM interventions, a second survey is run after 2 or 3 years. Results generally demonstrate in impressive to spectacular ways how much positive change has been brought about - visible not only due to a drop of rates of sick-leave, but also due to an increase in productivity.

Well-being of employees and their productivity always correlate. Healthy employees are therefore an indispensable pre-condition for a company to flourish. This process is described in the chart below. The modules of the health Report® are based on this model and take into consideration all areas that matter.

There is sufficient, even alarming scientific evidence as to what degree not only rates of sick leave, but also physical and mental impairments of employees affect a company's EBIT. Furthermore, studies also give evidence regarding the much higher losses due to the hidden (because in general not recorded) losses of productivity against losses due to rates of sick leave.

The age of digitalization will redefine the importance of absenteism against presenteeism. It appears almost certain that the usual data of amount of sick leave and absences will have to be replaced by a new kind of data taking into account the state of well-being of staff and its consequences on the company.
