The VIA MAT-Group provides services of transportation and logistics worldwide. They are market leader in Swiss value logistics. Mistakes are unforgivable in this segment. The entire process, from the moment of the first contact with a client to the final delivery, requires no less than perfection in planning, organizing and delivering. Only highly motivated and focussed employees can do just that. This is why the VIA MAT-Group is willing to invest when it comes to support their staff's individual energy management.

Increased attention
Customer demands and expectations in the domain of value logistics have drastically increased over the last years. This manifests of course in increased pressure which VIA MAT's staff have to deal with. Topics like stable well-being, ability to cope with pressure and endurance have become a prime focus of interest of the executive board. That's why since 2011, the VIA MAT-Group has run energy management seminars with their executives. The main focus always is just how, with limited time and possibilities at hand, can one optimize one's energy balance.  

Recognizing potential
In addition to the health interventions for executives, VIA MAT started to run health days for everyone in 2012 where participants undergo different physical testings as to determine their current fitness. Based on the results, people attend one of a choice of three workshops. In other words, the most pertinent potential is recognized first and then catered for by a specific workshop where first steps are taken towards improved individual well-being.

In future, the VIA MAT Group would like to tailor health interventions even more for specific needs of their staff. As a start, a newly designed 50+ seminar is addressing the specific needs and issues of staff of 50 years of age and above.
